This luxurious stone barn conversion has an incredibly chic ‘home away from home’ feel and is perfectly located in the Cotswolds, with towns such as Moreton in Marsh or Stow-on the-Wold nearby. Guests can truly leave everyday stresses behind and immerse themselves in tranquil countryside living, without compromising on any of today’s modern comforts.
Apart from the modern amenities such as full SKY television, DVD player and library and WiFi access, Wold Barn features a spectacular hot tub, barbecue facilities and the use of the all-weather tennis court*.
The property offers lovey double height spaces topped with stripped back ancient beams, open plan living spaces, a mezzanine study, a modern kitchen with a light filled breakfast area, a decadent dining room that seats 12 and a large living space with two sitting areas. There are five en-suite bedrooms, three of which can be made up into twins on request, with furnishings that reflect the property's overall luxurious yet comfortable style.
Accommodating your needs
Wold Barn can be combined with Wold House (0231) to provide an additional seven bedrooms which can sleep up to 14 guests; if both properties are booked together, a total of 24 guests can sleep on the estate. This wonderful estate, when taken on an exclusive use basis, is the perfect venue for a boutique wedding; the Manor dining room can (with chair hire**) accommodate up to 30 guests, while two of the family rooms hold a civil licence for up to 24 people and there is also a church just a short distance away.
The entire estate shares gardens of approximately 14.5 acres with an all-weather astro-turf tennis court, two hot tubs, large walled gardens with a water feature overlooking the River Windrush, a vegetable garden, gently rolling fields and the estate’s own lake. Guests who book the whole estate can ensure complete privacy; if the manor house is booked individually, guests can enjoy separate gardens, a separate parking area and terrace with outdoor furniture and BBQ for 10 guests, but will share some aspects of the wider estate.
