A countryside haven
When you arrive, you will be shown the drawing rooms, meeting rooms, the orangery and the beautiful walled garden. There's also a designated conference room for business meetings and work events.
Otter Country House is the perfect quintessential English country estate where countryside living and modern convenience are combined. It’s the ideal place to host a beautiful wedding, special celebration or a company wellness retreat. The main house features 15 individually styled bedrooms with en suites, with a further 16 ensuite 'garden' rooms in a separate building nearby. All of the rooms look out on the beautiful grounds and are supplied with tea and coffee-making facilities and your very own dressing gowns.
For the bridal party or team leaders, the 'Playhouse' is a luxury cottage offering three double bedrooms, while CEO's and newlyweds love the private treehouse with it's private balcony, roll-top bath and log-burner. Finally, the luxury shed comes complete with two double rooms, a pool table and plenty to keep the groomsmen entertained.
Something for everyone
After a long day of celebrations, relaxation, conferences or fun and games, sit back and relax in the house’s conservatory and enjoy a nice glass of wine. The in-house catering team make the most of freshly grown and locally sourced produce, such as fruit, vegetables, and fresh meat from local Devon farms.
There are plenty of activities available on-site for everyone to enjoy such as fly fishing, or playing a game of ball on the croquet lawn. Bicycles are also available for hire as well as long walks through the surrounding woodlands. Yoga sessions can take place in the orangery, or out in the gardens during summer months. The mediterranean-inspired gardens include traditional pizza ovens, perfect for themed pizza nights.
