Escape into the Yorkshire countryside
Set in the beautiful county of Yorkshire, this 18th-century country house is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy a family celebration or a retreat for your company with your work colleagues. The house is surrounded by over 20 acres of breathtaking grounds and surrounding gardens where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll or partake in some good old-fashioned fishing. Within the grounds is spa which offers the perfect place to relax and be pampered.
If you’re looking for somewhere to set up a corporate event this is the place for you. The estate features its own dedicated meeting room that can seat up to 60 people, making it the perfect place for conferences, meetings and receptions for your business. There is also a boardroom in the main house with its own private sitting room that can accommodate up to 10 guests and is ideal for smaller gatherings and events.
York Hall features 29 bedrooms on the estate and you will feel as if you are stepping back into the past. The Hall is decorated in the style of the 18th century and filled with antiques and paintings. The atmosphere here makes you feel as if you’re staying in a private home rather than on a large estate.
Something for everyone
There is something for everyone to enjoy on the estate. It won’t feel like you’re working when you stay here. There are several suites on the first floor including the White Rose Suite and the Lady Mary Suite. The main bedrooms feature fourposter beds and gorgeous views looking out onto the estate and surrounding grounds. And the courtyard suites have a wonderful cosy feel and are finished to a very good standard.
York Hall Estate features its very own spa and will make you feel truly pampered during your stay. The spa is a secluded place with its very own garden and features a variety of health and beauty treatments. And also includes a small club room serving drinks and refreshments. It even has its very own indoor swimming pool with views looking out onto the garden, a private steam room and sauna and a spa bath. Outside in the garden, the Victorian summerhouse has its own gymnasium with a treadmill, rowing machine and other exercise equipment.
