Set in the heart of the countryside the Peak District Lodge sits on 6000 acres of breathtakingly beautiful moorlands. The Lodge was created by the Duchess of Rutland who worked tirelessly to create a wonderful place for visitors to enjoy modern luxury in a place with an old world feel to it. This ten-bedroomed house can sleep up to twenty guests in king-size, queen-size or double size beds. It’s the perfect getaway for families or large groups looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the peace and quiet of a remote countryside getaway. 

Each bedroom is decorated with antiques from around the world which give each room a unique feel. Whether it’s vases from China or other fascinating objects. It also boasts eight ensuite bathrooms and two other bedrooms with private bathrooms. The house hosts its own private whiskey bar and a basement full of entertainment perfect for entertaining any guests. It holds its own snooker table and satellite TV. Outside there is an inviting swimming pool for the private use of guests.

Everyone wants to escape the daily grind, and this is the perfect place for all the family to enjoy. There is something for everyone at the house to enjoy whether you want to sit back relax and look out over the moors, have a game of tennis on the private tennis court or go for a simple swim in the private pool. Being right in the heart of the Peak District you have your pick of enjoying countryside walks or visiting cosmopolitan areas. The city of Sheffield is only a 15-minute drive away and there are lots of other places to visit nearby from historic buildings to nature walks.
