With its central location in the dramatic Peak District and easy access from the M1, M6 and Manchester airport, Midweek Retreat is ideal for weekday corporate stays and family get-togethers looking for a self-catered house that includes a large open plan living space and can accommodate large groups.

This modern property boasts a spacious dining room which can seat 28 guests and a central double-sided wood burning stove between the dining area and the adjacent lounge. The complete area can also be transformed into a games room by pulling out the full size pool table and table tennis table. For more entertainment options, there is a separate den with a 32” plasma TV and a video karaoke machine.

The large French doors in the lounge area lead out to a stunning garden which includes a custom-built barbecue and picnic benches. The combination of the indoor and outdoor spaces is perfect for breakouts, allowing the party or celebration to extend outside or it can simply provide separate outdoor spaces for rest and relaxation during corporate events.

Accommodate all needs

This house offers far more twin rooms than is standard with private houses, allowing for larger group bookings without the need for sharing double bedrooms. There are a total of ten bedrooms, each with either an en-suite or private bathroom facility. Accessibility is also a key factor in this property, with some bedrooms being located on the ground floor and one bedroom that includes a bathroom with wheelchair access.

With parking space for around fifteen cars and Wi-Fi access throughout, this lovely house offers comfort, character and practicality. In an area famous for its stunning beauty, walking trails and horse riding, there is ample opportunity for many outdoor pursuits. For catering, options can be provided upon request or, alternatively, there is a local pub within walking distance and many others, which come with good recommendations, just a short drive or taxi ride away. For those eager to get out in the fresh air, or participate in some serious team building, there are walks right outside the front door and a Go-Ape centre just a 5-minute drive away.
