This spectacular, privately-owned 18th century country house on the striking Jurassic Coast with its beautiful grounds and gardens is the perfect property for weddings, family holidays and celebrations.
Georgian façades, walled gardens and spectacular sea views makes Bay Manor House a unique venue that truly exemplifies charm. Full of history and character, the house boasts antique furnishings, panelling and a magnificent dining-room with Georgian plasterwork and 18th century Furstenberg plates on its walls, with a space that can seat 20 or more guests.
Two acres of flower gardens, orchards, and a Mediterranean garden surround the house; a walk through woods and fields can be reached from the bottom of the main walled garden, leading down to Kimmeridge Bay.
With grounds for a marquee, this peaceful and homely manor house is ideal for all types of celebrations, be it family or corporate, large or small; the perfect opportunity for an escape to beautiful Dorset.
Historic interiors
When you enter the house, you realise you are somewhere very special. With large family rooms furnished with antique furniture that has been handed down through the generations. There are two open fire places for a cosy stay, and you also have full central heating for complete convenience. There are eight bedrooms all furnished beautifully. Bedroom one has a large bay window with incredible views. You will find other bedrooms with beautiful king sized beds and views of the sea.
Boat trips, shooting, windsurfing and other activities can be arranged by the house, making this perfect for corporate away days, a family get together and of course weddings.

Prices for staying at Bay Manor House vary by season and also depend on whether it is a week, weekend or a mid-week break. Prices start at £2500 for a weekend in very low season and rise to over £10,000 a week at peak periods. These prices are for the use of the main house, which sleeps 16 people in 8 bedrooms.
- All Bank Holiday weekends require a 3-night minimum booking
- Christmas, Easter & New Year are 5 nights minimum
- One-night mid-week stays might be possible by special arrangement but not in peak season
- Week bookings run Friday to Friday or other mid-week days by arrangement
- Bookings run from 3pm on arrival day until 10am for a weekday check-out, and 3pm on a Sunday or Bank Holiday checkout
- Garden Wing: Available as additional accommodation for 6 people for £375 per night for all 3 rooms if taken in conjunction with the Main House. Occasionally available as a separate rental – enquire for prices
