Style and charm ooze from Aberdeenshire Lodge, a secluded 10 - bedroom property located close to the stunning Cairngorms National Park and to the coastal ‘super-city’ of Aberdeen.

Up to 20 guests in ten plush ensuite bedrooms can enjoy myriad local pursuits from the property, which is available on an exclusive-use and fully catered basis.

The Lodge, set against the backdrop of beautiful Royal Deeside, was once a farmstead but has been transformed by the owners into a luxurious base for private parties, family celebrations, corporate retreats and team building.

Its 428 acres lie deep in countryside adored by the royal family and boasting some of the best salmon fishing in the UK. 

Walkers, golfers, horse riders and wildlife enthusiasts will also find their interests well served.

Accommodation is in the building’s North and South wings where every bedroom has been designed to have its own unique character.

Many rooms are fitted with a striking blend of antique and contemporary furniture and all have restful views. 

Each room is named after one of the 16 fishing pools on the nearby River Dee. Some also can be a twin or super king-double with Sky TV, Wi-Fi, a safe and the fluffiest white robes and towels possible. 

Guests can choose between soft and firm pillows; bedding is allergy-free.

On the landings next to bedrooms, complimentary hot drinks and cookies are on hand around the clock.

Downstairs, top cuisine is prepared in the Lodge’s state of the art kitchen, often using local ingredients. Guests with food intolerances are welcome and can discuss their needs in advance of their stay. 

The dining and drawing rooms are ideal for large parties, with drying and secure storage facilities available. 

Guests can stroll in the gardens outside and savour impressive views over the moorland and woodland of the Forest of Birse.

The Lodge has an excellent wine and spirit list operated on an honesty box basis. 

Visitors are also welcome to bring their own refreshment – and their own dogs, which can be housed in the estate kennels.
