Moor Spa Hall is located in stunning grounds with spectacular views and opportunities for long, uninterrupted walks out into the countryside. The interior of the property features charming historic touches and provides a bright and airy space which can be customised to cater to individual needs, allowing each guest to experience a unique event, party or holiday.
The main reception rooms are well laid out and located in a flowing pattern along the ground floor, with the option of additional function, meeting and breakout spaces located in the old barns and stables around the main hall.
The property also comprises a lounge and bar with an open fire, a cosy television den, a games room and an impressive drawing room. There is also a fully-equipped commercial kitchen and a hot drinks station in the dining room which your guests are welcome to help themselves to, allowing them to feel completely at home.
The sleeping accommodation at Moor Spa Hall is extensive. With 31 bedrooms ranging from en-suite doubles to larger family-style rooms and flexible sleeping arrangements, this property is ideal for couples, singles and kids alike. Sleeping 40 to 80 guests, there is also the additional benefit of paying per person if the total number of guests is above 40, positioning the property as offering a very cost-effective solution for large groups.
Complementing the outdoor pool, which is open during the summer months, is the modern spa area showcasing a Jacuzzi, steam room, Swedish sauna and infra-red sauna. Open by appointment for 2 hour sessions to groups of 15 people at a time, the spa is the perfect place to relax before a wedding, during scheduled breaks between meetings or as part of a meditation or detox programme.
The Hall is located within the Exmoor National Park and, as such, opportunities for outdoor pursuits is plentiful. In addition, the coast is just a short drive away; guests can make day trips to the magical Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge, the stunning Lynton and Lynmouth coast and visit the Mulberry outlet shop in Shepton Mallet. Moreover, the historic National Trust ‘s Dunster Castle and Dunster Village are only a 10-minute drive from the property, while 15 minutes away is Minehead with its fantastic beaches and shopping areas.

VAT: Included in hire price
Internet: Free Wi-Fi is generally available in most areas & hardwired connections are provided in the two main function rooms & the bar. Hirers should be aware that Wi-Fi services may from time to time be interrupted due to the rural location of the Hall.
Heating: included in the hire price. Logs for the fireplace are provided at no additional charge for winter evenings. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring any fires are managed safely.
Spa: The spa is charged at an additional £125.00 including towels for up to 15 people per 2 hour session (with break of 2 hours between each session for cleaning)
Cots: Not provided
Camp Beds: Not provided
Catering & Corkage: The house does not charge corkage. You are free to self-cater or the house can provide a list of recommended local caterers
Damage Deposit: £1,500
Terms: A non-refundable booking deposit of 10% of the total hire fee is needed to secure your reserved dates. A second non-refundable deposit of 50% of the balance of your reservation is due 4 months before the event date (or immediately if the event date is less than 4 months away). The final payment is due as cleared funds no less than 4 weeks before arrival and will still be due if the booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks before the event.
Payment method: Payments can be made by bank transfer or by cheque, debit, or credit card (not Amex). Payment by credit card will attract a 2.5% additional charge.
Midweek Bookings: Any start and end date is possible on a case by case basis
One night stays: The house usually requires a 2 night booking as minimum, however, do ask
Pets: Well behaved dogs by special advance agreement £25 per dog per night
Weddings & Events: The house can accommodate receptions of up to 100 guests. There is a bar that you can stock yourself. Glasses, crockery, cutlery, chairs & tables are available within the hire fee. a £350 facilities fee applies for wedding bookings of up to 50 guests and £450 for over 50 guests. (Max guests on site including day guests is 100. The house is not a licensed wedding venue, however there is a is a registry office within 10 minutes drive.
A £45 waste removal charge also applies to wedding bookings & bookings for over 50 people.
The house does not charge corkage on your own drinks
Employment of an approved external security service is mandatory for late night wedding celebrations, ask for prices.
Stags / Hens: Not accepted at this house

Larger groups: Up to 100 guests on site if agreed in advance. The house does not allow camping marquees or tepees
